    Frozen north

Post  Bagofwind on Tue Nov 29, 2011 10:44 am

OK, so i'm 1/2 way through a bottle of red and planning my next UK mat session. My time is running out here in Aus, and after 3 years of great surf i am looking for my next job/home. Unfortunately i have a horrible suspicion that it may be somewhere with no waves whatsoever.....so to remedy that i will be having as many freezing cold sessions as i can when i hit the UK in Feb. Anyone around from the northeast? Fancy hitting Bamburgh some time in the first 2 weeks of the month? Hypothermia is good fun allegedly..... Sleep

Hey. I'll be around in Newcastle from next Monday for a week or so. Give me a shout if anyone fancies popping out for a wave. Also, i'm thinking of driving down to the south coast for the next mat meet. Anyone else thinking of going from around here?

    Bamburgh this morning

Bamburgh this morning was w-i-n-d-y- might save you a trip up!

Beadnell Bay had 1-2' just about mattable wave at the sheltered harbour end-and some 'interesting' bigger stuff at the southern end-wouldn't personally fancy the paddle out though!
